How to Use Power Supply FAQ

A negative-common type power supply is a power supply in which the common of the analog remote terminal and the negative pole (minus sense pole) of the output terminal are at approximately the same potential. Therefore, when controlling the power supply using analog remote control such as Vcon, Icon, Vmoni, Imoni, etc., do not ground the common terminal on the controller side but leave it floating. If the positive output terminal is grounded and used as a power supply with a negative output, grounding the common will short the output, causing failure or malfunction of the power supply and control circuit.
Taking this into consideration, protective measures such as floating and isolation must be taken. Please follow the instructions to avoid product failure or malfunction.
