Unit less than 60 kV, the polarity may be reversed by swapping the internal cable. Unit over 80 kV, by swapping internal high voltage module.
Example:AF-1R30: 0 to ±1 kV/0 to 30 mA
Functions
Normal Operation: Output (1) to (5), conversely to stop operation.
- POWER ON/OFF switch: This has priority over all operations.
- High Voltage ON/OFF switch
Output is enabled when this is ON.
The remote switch can be turned ON/OFF only when the high-voltage switch is ON. This switch is also used for resetting interlock and cut off mode. - COARSE potentiometer (10-turn, lockable)
- FINE potentiometer (10-turn, lockable)
- Overload trip level setting dial: 1-turn LED is lit up when the protection circuit is operating.
- Ground (GND) Terminal (M6)
- AC Inlet
- Fuse
- Output connector (Matsusada precision's property)
- Output voltage monitor
- Output current monitor
- Connector for USB, RS-232C, RS-485, and GPIB interface, and changing-over switch (option)
REMOTE CONTROL CONNECTOR M4
REMOTE SWITCH ON/OFF *
Output | External relay | Open collector |
---|---|---|
ON | Short | VCE ≤ 0.4 V |
OFF | Open | VCE ≥ 2 V |
Sink Current ≥ 10 mA
OUTPUT CONTROL
Output voltage | LR | Vcon |
---|---|---|
0 to MAX | R2 0 to 5 kΩ |
0 to 10 V Input imp ≥ 10 kΩ |
Output is possible in external relay short or a status of VCE less than 0.4 V.
The output will be cut off when open or 2 V or remote. To work again, turn the OUTPUT switch ON after resetting by turning the OUTPUT switch OFF in a status of short or 0.4 V or less.
* -LG option: When the switch (12) is on the IEEE-488 side, the remote switch and output control are not enabled from a remote terminal but from only the IEEE-488 operation.
DOOR SWITCH
Sink Current ≥ 10 mA
Output is possible in external relay short or a status of VCE less than 0.4 V.
Output will be cut off when open or 2 V or more. To output again, turn the OUTPUT switch ON after resetting by turning the OUTPUT switch OFF in a status of short or 0.4 V or less.
* -LG option: When switch (12) is on IEEE-488 side, remote switch and output control is not enable from remote terminal, but from only IEEE-488 operation.
OUTPUT MONITOR BNC receptacle *
- Vout: 0 to ±10 V(0 to +10 V)
- [standard] Monitor polarity equals output polarity
- [-LG option] Positive polarity regardless of High Voltage polarity
- Iout: 0 to +10 V
Output imp is 1 kΩ.
* -LG option: Generates output no matter switch (12) is on or off.

Accessories
Digital remote control adapter
LAN / USB / RS-232C / RS-485 / GPIB Control
To remotely control this high-voltage power supply via LAN or USB, purchase both a digital converter (CO-HV) and an optical isolation adapter. The digital converter (CO-HV) converts the analog control signal of the high-voltage power supply into a digital optical signal. The optical isolation adapter converts interface signals such as LAN and USB to optical signals.
For details, check the CO / USB series for a digital converter (CO-HV) and optical isolation adapter.
- Optical isolation
- 16-bit (1/65535) high-resolution A / D .
- Computer and PLC controlled.
- Protecting from discharge and surge.
- Ideal for automation and labor-saving systems.
