ULTRA HIGH SLEW RATE 1200 V/μS
AMPS series is an ultra-high-speed, high voltage amplifier that offers an output up to ±30 kV or a very high slew rate of 1200 V/µs. The high current of peak current 4 A is also selectable.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Broad lineup ±0.6 kV to ±30 kV
- Generous peak current output
-
1. ULTRA HIGH SLEW RATE 1200 V/μS
±10 kV and ±20 kV output models achieved the existing double high-speed response of slew rate 1200 V/µs. Laser modulation and beam deflection at unprecedented high speed are possible.
-
2. HIGH-SPEED RESPONSE OF FREQUENCY BANDWIDTH 100 KHZ
Frequency bandwidth with actual load is as high as 100 kHz, and solve the problem of "When actual operation with load, the response become slow." Ideal for high-speed printer or material evaluation testing.
-
3. FOR MEASURING VOLTAGE AND CURRENT
When the voltage at load is lower than the rated maximum output of AMPS series, constant voltage and high speed operation is possible by sinking the output current with current sink feature.
As example of the development of ceramic and electrophotography process, by current sink, it is possible to absorb the voltage of a capacitive load quickly or to per form diselectrification smoothly.
Peak current (1 ms) output is twice the rated DC current (see right figure, AMPS-10B40 and AMPS-20B20 are three times the rated current), the rise characteristics with capacitive loads can improve.
APPLICATIONS
- Beam steering
- Material characterization
- Testing of solar panel, rechargeable battery, and display panel
- Particle accelerators
- Electrophoresis
- Various electrostatic deflection
- Laser modulation
- Ceramic materials testing
- High-Voltage cable testing (Hipot testing)
- Electrophotography process
- Piezo driver
- Evaluations of Photovoltaics (PV) panel, rechargeable battery or flat panel display
- Various electrostatic testing

Options
- -LC
-
Current Limit *
The output is not turned off, but it is limited in the event of lowering output voltage at an overcurrent level.
- -LCc
-
Adjustable current limit level *
The output is not turned off but it is limited in the event of lowering output voltage at an overcurrent level.
Using the potentiometer on the front panel, the limit current level can be adjusted in the range of 10% to 105% of the rating.
- -LCx
-
Adjustable current trip level + Variable current limit level *
Both of -LOc (adjustable current trip level) and -LCc (adjustable current limit level) are switchable.NOTE: As for models with the -LCx option, the CE marking Low Voltage directive is not applicable.
- -LN
-
Output state auto-recovery (former: no power failure protection)
- -LOc
-
Adjustable current trip level *
Using the potentiometer on the front panel, the limit level to turn off the output current can be adjusted in the range of 10% to 105% of the rating.
- -L(5m)
-
High voltage output cable 5 meters (more than 2 kV models)
When using a cable 5 meters long, phenomena such as lower through rate or response speed or output waveform distortion may occur easily. Be careful to use it.
* These options can be chosen only once, either. Selecting multiple options is unavailable at the same time.
How to Order
When ordering, add Option No. in the following order by alphabet, number, input voltage, and output cable length to Model No.
