The High Voltage Amplifier, also called HV amplifier or HV-AMP, is used to amplify the input signal to a high-voltage output. The high-voltage amplifier can provide high-voltage sine, square, or arbitrary waveform output. It plays an important part in developing copiers and printers, plasma systems, and products utilizing corona discharge that require high voltage sine and square waves for designing.
Various types of high voltage amplifiers such as integrated module types and rack mount types are all available in various models of Matsusada Precision. AMPS series, a fast-response high voltage amplifier achieved its maximum slew rate of 1200 V/μs with an output frequency bandwidth of 100 kHz.
